Coming off of an instant classic for the then-vacant PPW Heavyweight Championship, current champion Breaux Keller and Joey Martinez will meet once again with the gold on the line on Saturday, November 13th at PPW Traditions!
Martinez has been on a roll since PPW returned in June. He might have picked up the biggest victory yet this past month when he got the pinfall in the victory over Dirty Dango and former PPW Tag Team Champions The Mane Event. “The Closer” has been extremely dominant, and has earned another chance at the PPW Heavyweight Championship.
Martinez has a gripe with how the first match went, as his manager, Mr. Ruda, was thrown out from ringside by senior official Jeff Carden. Without Ruda there to help his client out, Keller was able to pick up the victory to a deafening ovation.
Speaking of Keller, “The Breaux Show” had his first championship defense end in an odd fashion, as a hulking-yet unknown man laid out him and challenger Encore. A rematch for Encore certainly seems to be in the future plans based on last month’s result, but first, “All Energy” must get past an old rival in Martinez.
Will Breaux be victorious over “The Closer” once again? Or will Martinez weasel his way to another victory?
